We love a barn find with a happy ending. According to CarsinBarns, Mike from Missouri wasn’t so sure a happy ending was in store for him as he watched two cars sit in a garage for decades. He had known and asked about a certain 1965 Mustang convertible since he was a kid. Its stablemate was a 1965 MG.
Mike would inquire about the cars all of the time, but the owner wasn’t ready to part with them. All Mike could do was watch for years as these two white cars sat there collecting dust.
Now 45 years old, Mike was shocked when he finally received a call from the owner. She was finally willing to part with the cars. However, she didn’t want to let them go individually, but she was willing to let them to go as a package deal. The owner told Mike that she thought he was now mature enough to take care of them. She was the only owner and had bought both of the cars brand new.
The white 1965 Mustang featured is a 289 automatic with an all original paint, top, and interior with a mere 16,000 miles. The ’65 MG also was all-original with only 26,000 miles.
Both of these cars look to be in awesome shape despite the decades of dust that has accumulated on them over the years. The Mustang’s paint is shiny still and looks almost new as it is being loaded onto a trailer to its new home. How many of you wish you could be the lucky recipient of such a
